First of all do you have a digital (DV) video camera? This is necessary for transferring onto your computer. (Most newer models are DV.) If this is the case, then you should have a CD that came w/ your camera. You should be able to install the USB driver with this CD. Try just putting the CD into your CD drive and see if something pops up and prompts you. If not, check the owner's manual. Once you have the USB driver installed you need to use your USB cord to plug your camera into your computer. Then using the software that came with your camera you will be able to capture video onto your computer. You can make great music videos in Windows movie maker by using the clips that you capture off your camera and saving them.
Digital camera (movie or still) no problem. Just install the right software and use firewire or USB port. What I do is input analog stuff into my digital video camcorder then download into my computer.
